Mad Hatters Tea Party - A family affair.

This weekend was my lovely niece's 18th birthday and she celebrated with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
It was held in the lovely Little Haven in Pembrokeshire Wales. The whole thing was put together by talented family and friends. It was amazing and I had a field day taking photos.

Sophie wanted a bright and colourful room. So we decorated it with paper pom poms, paper chair covers, bunting and fairy lights. It made the room magical.

The cake and tea cup topper was made by my talented sister-in-law and flowers by a friend. I just love this cake! It looked amazing on the table.

For weeks I helped collect tea pots, vases, bottles and anything that was nick-nacky for the table decoration. The more miss-match the better. Also purchased fake grass table runner but it was too short for the table so we used it as grass for the Photo Booth.

We used jars to drink out of. Filled tea pots and a fishbowl with punch.

I love this birdcage. There were also tall candelabra's that gave the table height.

Birdcage with flowers in it makes a great table centrepiece.  Flowers were from Father-in-laws garden!
You can find some great pieces in the charity shops. Lucky I live near so many!!!
Food was lovingly made by Mother-in-law and friends.
For the Photo Booth we brought in garden furniture, an old tressel (from father-in-law's garden) and decorated it with hand made daisy pom poms and fairy lights. Fake grass table runner made perfect flooring.

Cute props of sunglasses and funny hats.
The boys were loving it.
Great way to decorate the walls with a photo gallery!

Talented sister-in-law made these awesome signs directing guests to the party.
I love Mad Hatter's Tea Party themes. Because anything goes. We got a lot of the things from Ebay, charity shops, amazon, and of course old faithful Poundland. The rest of the things are either from home, borrowed or hand made. It was a great day. I feel that my family should do this for a living!!!

  1. This is so adorable party décor!! The whole party is stunning however I especially loved this cake. It has been amazingly decorated. Well, I just hosted my birthday party at one of the local party venues in Houston and enjoyed a lot with friends and family.
