No-Tech Sunday #3 - Sun, Sea and Sausages

For this Bank holiday we decided to go on adventure to the beach at West Wittering, by Portsmouth.
The boys napped in the car on the way down which was perfect timing for us. Stopped off at a farm shop to pick up some lamb chops, sausages and the tiniest disposable BBQ known to man.

The weather was overcast and breezy but oddly warm. We set up camp on a porch of a really cute beach hut. There was digging, running up and down the dunes, lots of chips and eventually lamb chops and sausages. I loved watching the boys play and interact with each other. You can really see a bond growing between them. Even though Harvey always says he doesn't love Seb.

It was great to get out of London and I guess this was our first family outing on our own. It makes me look forward to a proper holiday away.

1. Found treasure -  2. Having a chat - 3. Tiniest BBQ ever - 4. Harvey the treasure hunter.

Technology is such a part of our lives, we take for granted what is right in front of us. Even as I am typing this. I can see my boys in the corner of my eye, entertaining themselves by watching TV. Are we letting technology take over our lives? We are on our phones, looking through Facebook, reading emails, sending texts, while life is passing us by.  I admit, technology does make our lives easier but it also takes up a lot of our time, when we could be doing something else more exciting and productive.

I am guilty of being on my phone or laptop when I should be spending more time with the boys. And so No-Tech Sunday was born. It is my photo journal of our day/days of "doing things" sans technology. To spend more quality time with my family. Being more active and having more adventures.

I have also created a linky for those who wish to link up. It doesn't have to be a Sunday. It can be any day or days. You can be as strict or flexible as you like. Maybe a day without TV or an afternoon not using your phone, crafts, or cooking.... Just as long as you are enjoying time with friends and loved ones. Or even just you having some "me" time.

It would be great to see how you spend your day(s) on No-Tech Sunday! Each week I will put up a new linky for you to join. Be sure to paste the badge below on your post.

Please share the love. If you do link up it would be great if you can comment on a few of the other links. Also share your link on Twitter, Facebook with the hashtag #NoTechSunday.
