What do you do when he even refuses your "go-to" meal? Seb did eat it but, an after an hour dinner stand off. I think it is a combination of teething and a cold. Always something happening with them!

Ahhh great capture even in a stand off. We have this with MM at the moment and she always ends up eating it eventually but sits there forever too. Bless you. #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny. Seb doesn't always end up eating it. Sometimes he does. It is like a power struggle with him. Along with teething haha.
DeleteWhat a rather cute shot. Love this moment. Little monkeys aren't they when refusing to eat. My little boy has been a fussy eater for 18 months, we literally choose to ignore it now. It is getting better since too. Good luck with the stand offs x
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerri-Ann, I am hoping it will sort it self out soon. I am banking the fussiness is due to his teething. His last 4 molars are finally coming out. He had teeth quite early on and had most of them by 1 year old. Teething has a lot to answer for! haha.
DeleteThat is a wonderful photo, they are that age for such a short moment. I'm afraid if the meal that is offered is refused in our house there is nothing else (often cause there literally IS nothing else, I run a tight larder!) One missed meal won't do a child any harm! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Clare, yes I have tried the "If you don't eat your dinner, there is nothing else" It works with Harvey, sometimes. But with Seb... he is a different story. Very strong-willed haha.
DeleteIt's a sweet photo. Sounds like a stressful time though. We do tend to offer something else which I know others wouldn't - like toast or fruit. My big girl was always great with food but the dinner table can become a battle ground now.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Seb still has a bottle at night. One more thing I will have to battle with to try to get him off it! :D
DeleteWe have this! wow how soul destroying especially when you've made a delicious dinner! lol lovely picture x
ReplyDeleteThanks Natalie. Usually I make at least 2 different meals. Mainly it is meals for the boys then meals for the parents. Unless it is a bad day then it is 2 different meals for the boys and then another dinner for the parents. :( Kitchen is always a bomb site! haha. Luckily this evening I didn't have to make it.
DeleteHe reminds me of my son! My son's name is Sebastian and we call him that too Seb!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so adorable! #LivingArrows
Great shot! Seb looks so cute, even in a food stand-off #Livingarrows
